The Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business are looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals to join the team at the Senior Executive Service (SES) Band 2 level.
As a First Assistant Secretary, you will be a highly motivated leader with exceptional management and leadership skills and high order change management skills. You will possess excellent stakeholder management capability and the capacity to work with all members of the Executive, the Ministers, and other key stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be a key part of the department’s leadership team and will contribute to corporate management, planning and reporting, and interdepartmental liaison and negotiations.
Candidates should note the department is looking to create an order of merit and to recruit people from a range of disciplines.
Roles may include program management, program implementation, policy development, business process improvement, budget management, or other corporate functions.
