#700 Branch Manager, Communication Services, SES Band 1, Department of Social Services
The Department of Social Services (the department) is seeking an outstanding senior executive to fill the role of Branch Manager, Communication Services. The Communication Services Branch is responsible for delivering high quality strategic and operational communication activities for the department and Ministers. You will play a key role in supporting the department in achieving its mission to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families in Australian communities.
You will be the principal and authoritative source of advice for the department and its executive in relation to communication and media outcomes, including media, issues management strategies and campaigns, strategic internal activities and executive communication, media advice and support, marketing research, editorial and production services. You will take a strategic approach on communication activities and media monitoring across the portfolio. You will be a key member of the SES leadership team within the department and contribute to strategic and organisational priorities.
