Sachi has over 25 years’ experience in the public sector, 15 years of those in the senior executive service. She concluded her career in the Australian Public Service as the Deputy CEO of an agency and brings her extensive knowledge and skills to executive coaching.
Sachi has held senior roles spanning strategy, change and transformation, governance, policy, regulation and operations in the Departments of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Home Affairs, Agriculture, Environment and Infrastructure and Transport. She has also worked in agencies such as Customs (now ABF) and AMSA. Sachi has led issues as diverse as national security, natural resource management, maritime safety and crisis response, large workforces, high profile task forces, and teams based in Australia and overseas.
Her interests and strengths are in helping people: achieve their career aspirations, including how to influence, build presence and capability; think strategically, position for the future, make time for strategy and lead and communicate, particularly when managing change, dealing with uncertainty, and resolving complex issues.
Sachi’s long experience as a senior executive means she understands the issues and challenges involved in senior roles. Through her coaching she offers a confidential and empathetic advisory opportunity for senior leaders needing to work through issues and explore options.
