The Director leads a security‑focused policy portfolio spanning counter‑terrorism, violent extremism, foreign interference, cyber and digital identity, emergency management and critical infrastructure. The role requires strong strategic judgement, confidence operating in high‑scrutiny environments, and the ability to coordinate whole‑of‑government advice across NSW agencies and with Commonwealth national security partners.
